Crypto price alerts in Telegram

Telegram is the fastest of the delivery channels and the only one where you can also create alerts, not just receive them. For anyone who already keeps Telegram open, it removes the dashboard from the loop entirely.

Why the chat is a good place for this
An alert is a single short fact (a pair, a level, a direction), and a chat thread is a natural
format for it. Everything you have armed and everything that has fired sits in one scrollable
history, so /list answers "what am I waiting on" without opening anything else.
It also means alerts land in the same place you already get notifications, with your existing mute and priority settings applying to them.
Linking your account
- Sign in on the web. A one-time emailed code, no password.
- Open the Telegram link step from the dashboard and follow it to the bot.
- Start the chat. The link is confirmed and the channel is live.
- Use the chat from then on. Add, list and delete alerts without returning to the site.
Telegram alongside email
The channels are independent, so you can have both. Both are triggered at the same instant server-side; Telegram simply tends to arrive first, because email passes through more infrastructure on the way. Using both is the closest thing to redundancy the service offers.
